I am just curious to know whether permanent beauty treatments to enhance your beauty even more, as not in necessity, but just to be more beautiful, is it haram or not?Permanent Beauty Treatments, is it haram?
idk, go ask someone else. lool
haha jkPermanent Beauty Treatments, is it haram?
Praise be to Allaah.
There is nothing wrong with implanting an artificial tooth with a ceramic crown in place of a broken tooth, whether the implant is permanent or temporary.
There is also nothing wrong with leaving it in place after a person dies; there are no shar’i reservations about burying a person with an artificial tooth.
The artificial tooth does not have to be removed during wudoo’ or ghusl, as some people think, because it is sufficient to rinse out the mouth.
The scholars of the Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas were asked: Is removing the teeth and replacing them with new teeth regarded as changing the creation of Allaah?
They replied:
There is nothing wrong with treating damaged or faulty teeth with something which will remove the harm they cause, or extracting them and replacing them with false teeth, if there is a need for that, because this comes under the heading of permissible treatment to remove something harmful; it does not come under the heading of changing the creation of Allaah as the questioner understands it, because what is meant by the fitrah in the verse “Allaah’s Fitrah (i.e. Allaah’s Islamic Monotheism) with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq‑illaah (i.e. the religion of Allaah __ Islamic Monotheism)” [al-Room 30:30] is the religion of Islam. End quote.
Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (25/15).
It also says (25/57):
There is nothing wrong with having your teeth treated by a dentist who specializes in dealing with deformities and changing faults by adding artificial teeth, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Yes, O slaves of Allaah, seek medical treatment, for Allaah has not created any disease but He has also created it cures – or its medicine – except one disease.” They said: O Messenger of Allaah, what is it? He said: “Old age.” Abu ‘Eesa (al-Tirmidhi) said: Similar reports were narrated from Ibn Mas’ood, Abu Hurayrah, Abu Khuzaamah from his father, and Ibn ‘Abbaas. This is a hasan saheeh hadeeth.
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked: Is it permissible to use false teeth in the mouth when the natural teeth fall out and there is a need for that?
He replied: It is permissible, if a person’s teeth fall out, to replace them with false teeth, because that is removing a fault. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave permission to one of the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with him) whose nose had been cut off to use a nose made of silver, but it began to smell bad, so he gave him permission to use a nose made of gold, so he used a nose made of gold. Similarly, if the teeth fall out, then one may use false teeth instead, and there is nothing wrong with that. End quote from Fataawa Noor ‘ala al-Darb.
To sum up, there is nothing wrong with your mother having an artificial tooth permanently implanted.
Well, I have no quotes, links or sources for you but my opinion of Islam is that yes, it's haram because it is unnecessary, wasteful and vain. Also, you are altering your appearance permanently and that is haram in Islam. Some things may be harmful to your health, like silicon implants and self harm is haram. I don't know for sure though.
Plastic surgery can be done for medical reasons or vain unnecessary reasons. Of course if it is done for a medical reason, to correct a defect it is halal. The purpose and ones intention should be examined before making decisions, I think. In my opinion, I don't think what Michael Jackson did to his nose or what Playboy bunnies do to their bodies is considered halal by Islamic standards but the plastic surgery to correct things like this is.

Or just go read Qur'an till you find the answer in there yourself (which is the best method, probably).
I don't have any quotes or verses or anyhting for you, but i'mm just going to go with (my) logic. Permenant beauty treatments change who you are. So you are not accepting how Allah made you, and saying that you could do it better. So to boil it right down, it would be like you're saying to Allah that you can do something better than Him. It sounds pretty haraam....
but please I'm not judging, I just thought I'd offer my opinion. May God smile upon you!
Ah, give me a BREAK.... How can it be Haram.
Whats wrong in getting a nose job done if one has a pathetic nose or had an accident. Braces is a great idea to align your teath. plastic surgery of a damaged part of your body is a blessing. Please think that these are blessings for mankind. So chill.
Oh this reminds me that there is a Beautician in Pakistan (a famous one) and she is doing such a noble job by paying for the plastic surgery of those women who have had their faces burnt by their stupid husbands or inlaws, or Mullahs (because they were not covering their faces).
well maybe, if you're not going to show it to anyone but mehrams...
stuff like Flower Power said like nose jobs and stuff would most probably be ok if NEEDED but otherwise you'd be changing the creation of Allah (SWT) which i'm sure is not allowed..
sorry, i didn't help much did i? =(
its the way of the future. beauty will ow be something that people will customize with chemicals and the surgeons knife
