Consumer advice, complaint against a beauty salon treatment i had done the salon are refusing to refund me!?

What happend is I had an eyelash perm %26amp; tint %26amp; i was not happy with the results as it did not work! so I informed them,a few days later %26amp; went back in %26amp; the supervisor present was not disposed to offer me more than 50% discount of another treatment, even though it did not work the first time %26amp; I would have at least expect them to do another treatment free of charge as it was less than a week %26amp; this is supposed to last 5-6weeks or so!

At first I was ok with this, however after thinking about this why should i pay again! %26amp; I even suggested 50% refund back to me then.

I wrote a complaint letter %26amp; the salon (not a cheap one!) still only offered me 50% discount %26amp; a 拢5 off voucher for another treatment as a gesture of goodwill!!!! (making me spend more money, as if!)

I feel this is very unfair %26amp; not good customer service at all, I have tried again to put my point across, but the supervisor was very rude %26amp; said there is nothing further they could do %26amp; that they do not offer refunds. Help!Consumer advice, complaint against a beauty salon treatment i had done the salon are refusing to refund me!?
To be honest, you might have to let this one go. I know it's hard, I have a very similar experience but with a stay in a hotel. Some companies just don't care about customer service and it is relatively normal to offer a discount so, you spend more money with them and they aren't out of pocket. Vote with your feet - don't go back.Consumer advice, complaint against a beauty salon treatment i had done the salon are refusing to refund me!?
I would take photos or collect evidence. If it is an independent salon I would send a recorded letter to the proprietor, if a chain to the head office. It is unreasonable to expect you to spend more money in order to obtain satisfaction on money you've already spent. I would then tell them that I'm taking them to the small claims court. It is also unreasonable to have a policy of not giving refunds. try to get that in writing.
If the salon did not warn you that the treatment is not effective for everyone then you should get a full refund. If they continue to be negative then say you will take matters further and will pass on your disappointment to your friend and family so they can spread the word. Most buisnesses don't like bad publicity and may back down.

With peeling/microdermabrasion - should you seek these treatment from a dermatologist or beauty salon??

which is the most effective way - in terms of cost and results? With peeling/microdermabrasion - should you seek these treatment from a dermatologist or beauty salon??
Definitely a dermatologist... but why go to those lengths and expense. Do you use a good, natural skin care line? Test drive one or two to see what works for you before taking the leap to MDabrasion. I have been using the Arbonne RE9 anti-aging line and it's shaved years off my appearance.

Good luck. With peeling/microdermabrasion - should you seek these treatment from a dermatologist or beauty salon??
    Hi there,

There aren鈥檛 so many differences between the two options. The most important of them is the qualification of the practitioner. In a spa or beauty salon, the microdermabrasion treatment will be performed by a trained esthetician, whereas in a doctor鈥檚 office, the procedure will be performed by a qualified doctor or nurse.

The other thing that makes a difference between a medical and a spa treatment is the microdermabrasion machine used. Most of the times, machines designed for medical use are more powerful then the ones manufactured for beauty salons and aesthetic facilities. The micro crystals used are the same in both locations and so are most pre and post care products.

The results are quite the same in both types of locations: less visible scars, wrinkles and age spots, diminished stretch marks and improved overall appearance.

The cost of a medical microdermabrasion is a bit higher than if performed by a beautician in a spa. This is what I mean: the price of a single microdermabrasion treatment varies between $75 and $200 at beauty salons or spas. AND they may offer you discounts of 5-10% if you buy a package of 6-10 micro abrasion treatments. In a medical office, a single microdermabrasion session for your entire face costs somewhere between $100 and $300, not including the initial consultation (which may cost an additional $150).

My advice is this. Go to a medical facility for the initial consultation and the first two microdermabrasion sessions. It鈥檚 best to discuss your condition and expectations with a trained doctor and his staff. See how the procedure takes place, keep your eyes wide open for all details and note down the progress you make after these two sessions.

Then go to a beauty salon or a spa for the next two sessions. Compare the services, the way the staff is treating you and weigh in any other benefits they may offer you (online gift certificates, discounts for several sessions booked in advance, free parking, bonus massage minutes or product samples). If in the end results are similar and you think the two locations have more or less identical services, you may want to choose the spa, for the obvious reason that it is less expensive and it offers you additional bonuses.
I would go to a dermatologist to have either procedure done and depending on what your treating I would discuss it with a doctor as to what is the best treatment and how many treatments you will need to achieve the result you want.
    Dermatologist,

And the cost is just depends on where you go to get it done.

Has anyone ever used flour on their hair as a beauty treatment?

I read an online article saying that French women put flour in their hair because it helps smooth out the cuticles of the hair and makes it more shiny. Here is the recipe....

    INGREDIENTS

    1/2 cup white spelt flour

    1/2 cup barley flour

    1 cup distilled water

    1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 plastic bag that can fit over the hair

    To Make:

    1. Sift the flours together in a large bowl.

    2. Pour the water and vinegar over the flours and mix well.

    To Use:

    1. Spoon the flour mixture onto your dry hair.

    2. Smooth the paste all over the hair shafts. (This treatment is for the hair. It is not harmful for the scalp, but the focus is on getting the paste on the individual strands of hair.)

    3. Sweep the coated hair up on top of your head and cover with a plastic bag, securing with a hair clip or clothespin.

    4. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes.

    5. Remove plastic bag and rinse the mixture off hair thoroughly using cool water. (Hot water will make the flour stick to the hair shafts.)

    6. Shampoo as usual, rinsing with cool water.

Has anyone ever tried this? Or is it just some kind of joke?Has anyone ever used flour on their hair as a beauty treatment?
It probably works, and it's probably not a joke since it says to shampoo it out at the end, which obviously means you'll be getting rid of the stuff anyway instead of leaving it in all day. I think it would probably work but it just sounds like every other hair mask out there.

    Please help me :)

Where in cebu can i find a beauty treatment center like marie-france or facial care centre exept affordable?

There are a number of spa treatment centers in Cebu. For facials, manicures, pedicures, hair styling, waxing, etc. you can go to Salon de Rose at Ayala Center in Cebu City. Alternatively for a higher end spa experience I was personally very impressed with Meddah Spa at Crossroads (Banilad).

Crossroads has a number of high end restaurants and a private room Karaoke spot called K1. I would highly recommend it.Where in cebu can i find a beauty treatment center like marie-france or facial care centre exept affordable?
