I suffer from mild acne and have done all throughout my teens and it doesn't seem to be going away now that i'm 20.
I've been to my GP and he has prescribed me Oxytetracycline which i have been taking for 2-3 months but i was wondering that whilst i'm on these pills, are there any good beauty salon treatments/facials that anyone can reccommend to help improve my skin?
I'm not looking for a cure treatment, as i know it doesn't exist, just something that will make my skin look better whilst the antibiotics start to kick in. Thanks xxBeauty treatments for acne?
I have had spots for years and years (i'm 40) up until a few monthes ago I always had blemishes. I tried lots of creams and antibiotics prescribed by my doctor and none really helped.....until I discovered the new boots no7 protect and perfect. I haven't had any since..so far so good. It's the only thing that has worked. I have always had a fairly healthy diet, so I know it wasn't that which caused the breakouts. Try it, I really hope it works for you. It did for me after 25 yrs of trying to find a cure I think this was it. Good Luck and if it works let me know!Beauty treatments for acne?
Ive just started taking oxytetracycline too. For mild acne, sunlamps, or sitting out in the sun if you live somewhere nice will help acne. The tanning fades it and the UV light is good for it. People say you should only use water and soap to wash your face, but I dont really see the harm in using some kind of moisturiser and/or a clearasil type wash. If you were suffering from moderate to severe acne I would recomend a detox drink or chinese herbal medicine. That will help with cystic acne and reduce swelling, redness and pain, but it wont really help with small pimples.
Best thing I can recomend is continue with the antibiotics for at least 6 months, use either a sunlamp or sunbathe with caution and keep your face clean, washing it 2 or 3 times a day.
I'm not sure if you're looking for any products exactly, but I just started trying Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads, and they seem to be helping me so far...I've heard great things about their line of products...and i just switched over from using Neutrogena products. What type of cleanser/moisturizer do you use?
Mix (1 tsp) honey with 1/2 (tsp ) of cinnamon powder and leave it on the skin for 15 minutes.I found this facepack
very effective for my acne prone skin. I came across a lot of simple and natural remedies for treating and preventing acne at http://acxe.info
Acne is one of the most distressing and depressing problem. Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day. Mix cinnamon powder with lime juice to make a fine paste, Apply on the spots and wash when dry .Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
