I had a bad experience at a new beauty place. I had enquired as to qualifications prior to booking and was informed that they were fully qualified. Mid way through treatment I asked where the girl had gone to school (as there are 2 girls that work there) and was informed that they hadn't but had taken a few non vocational courses a few years back. They even joked that they had to pay for a proper pedicure to refresh themselves on what to do. They thought opening a business would be 'fun'!
I want to see where I can complain to whether it be Trading Standards or the local council. I don't even think they are insured.
Any advice as to where I can do this. I am not the only person who has had a bad experience.
Thanks! Can you open a business and practice beauty treatments with only having NON VOCATIONAL course training?
As long as you have NOT suffered any kind of negligence or injury during or after treatment and the girls working in the salon are insured, you don't have much of a case against them I'm affraid.
