Hey, I'm home alone woo! And feel like taking just a few hours to pamper myself :) You guys know any at home remedies or treatments for hair face or body? Or links to sites with them? Thanks alot :DDIY beauty treatments?
Yep.
Heat a little olive oil or coconut oil if you have it, comb through the hair, wrap in a towel and leave for one hour. Then wash as normal. Result: Lovely silky hair.
If you have an avocado, mash it with a little oil and spread thinly on the face and leave for five minutes. Rinse off and pat dry. Moisturise as normal. This is a deep cleanse method so do not use on sensitive skin.
Oily skin - mash some strawberries and a little oil and spread thinly over the face - rinse after five minutes and pat dry. Also not for sensitive skins.
If you are rather sallow around the mouth area (dull and yellow looking skin) mix some porridge oats in milk, leave to 'expand' for ten minutes, then apply to the affected area. It will look much clearer afterwards.
Take two chamomile teabags, infuse in warm water, when thoroughly soaked, place over eyes for ten minutes. Eyes will look refreshed and less puffy. Pat dry - do not rub.
Smother hands in moisturiser and then either put on a pair of cotton gloves or wrap in cling film. Leave for 20 minutes.
Result: visibly softer looking skin on the hands. Especially good for the thin skin on the back of the hands.
Something for you to be going on with.DIY beauty treatments?
ha i'm doin the same thing! it's great, isn't it???
okay, the only thing i really love to pamper is my hair, so i usually deep condition my hair with olive oil and let it sit for a few minutes before washiing it with regular conditioner and then letting THAT sit for a few minutes, and then washing it twice to get everything out. it always makes my hair feel silky :)
and you can't go wrong with seventeen.com. i love that website:)

I love getting some boiling water, pouring it into a large bowl, putting my face around 5-6 inches away from it, and letting the steam heat my face. I always put a towl around me and the bowl to ensure the heat doesn't get out and cool too quickly. It honestly works wonders; opens your pores and leaves you feeling refreshed and extremely relaxed.
Cheaper than a face mask!
For smooth skin mix honey and cooked oatmeal together for a ten minute mask. Rinse it off and apply lotion
