How much was it? How did it feel? Did it work? How long did it take to heal? Was it worth it?How anyone actually had a beauty mark or small scar on face removed with laser treatments?
Yes, done by a professional doctor of dermatology, not by anyone else. She gave local-anaesthesia to ';freeze'; the area and those initial injections were sharp at first, but necessary. Then the laser, I could feel something was being done on skin that was mostly numbed by the anaesthesia, but not really painful. Afterwards, just a little sore, but it was ok. In this case it was removed because it could have been melanoma, changing size, irregular shape. It never grew back again in over 10 years. If mine really was melanoma, it was worth it. My girlfriend had a beauty mark on the face too, and it was normal, symmetrical, did not change size or shape, probably not melanoma, and it gave her beauty extra distinction. I loved that spot, I loved her very much, maybe even more because of that special feature. Maybe you shouldn't remove it unless its a health hazzard, and if you do, make sure its done by a professional dermatologist or doctor. How anyone actually had a beauty mark or small scar on face removed with laser treatments?
I'm a man too, and my spot was considered possible melanoma, family doctor sent me to specialist. It was removed for health reasons, and I'm in Canada, so it was free. If I wanted to remove it just for looks, cosmetic surgery costs, I don't know how much that would be. Report Abuse
it was only one session, but welcome to go back if it grew back or if there were any complications. Amazingly no scar or mark left at all. Report Abuse
my friend actually did that. She had one of those big *** brown birth marks under her eye. We were in intermediate...next thing you know....BANG! No birth mark in high school. She looked good to me, and she said it didn't hurt. I don't know how long it took to heal but, I don't think it was long cause we were in 8th grade than 9th grade it was nice and gone... It looked worth it to me...just don't go bargain shopping for doctors! Get a board certified one that won't mess up your face! Get a doctor that is strictly for ';faces';. Good Luck!
