How much did you spend on extreme ';beauty'; treatments for your wedding?

Did any of you do/are going to do Zoom laser teeth whitening, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, facials, prescription skin care, airbrush tanning, etc?

Was it worth it and would you do it again? How much did you spend on extreme ';beauty'; treatments for your wedding?
Although we all want to be beautiful on our wedding day, I feel that you should still be YOU. Put on some make up, maybe get your hair done in a style that will fit your veil/hat, but the man you are marrying loves you for who you ARE and how you look NOW. So what if you are not a bronze beauty and your teeth are perfectly dazzling. Your friends and family are coming to your wedding to see two people they love commit to each other for the rest of their lives - they are not coming to see your transformation into a Barbie doll. (I hope that I didn't offend you, I just wanted to get across that you should be yourself.)How much did you spend on extreme ';beauty'; treatments for your wedding?
I didn't spend anything on 'extreme' beauty treatment, but then again I don't consider a facials or air brush tanning extreme either.

All I'm doing are my own facials, bought a really good shampoo, conditioner and treatment, waxing a bit before the big day and paying for makeup and hair on the day.

All up it will probably cost me $220 and that has months worth of all the products included.

Looking at the extreme things you mentioned I recon lazer whitening you can get done for about $300 (can in oz anyway), hair extentions $200, eyelash extentions $6 pair of fakies, facials $30 buy a kit and do your own, prescription skin care $50 depending on the product and whether it is covered by healthcare, airbrush tan $30. So all for about $600
my sister bought me a wedding diary so i could record all the stuff i needed to do before the wedding. there was a section in it to write down the appointment times for all of the things you've mentioned plus more!

i quickly got a thick black pen and drew a line through the whole page.

I didn't see the need to spend up big for just one hour of my life.

to me, a wedding day is just a stepping stone to spending the rest of my life with the man of my dreams. So we had a very relaxed and playful wedding day.

i did my own make up and my own hair, it meant no stresses and i got to look the way i wanted.

xx
I would do it all! This is the one time you'll get away with it. I just did Zoom, I would definently recommend it. My teeth are real thin though, so I got very sensitive. Try to do it a couple months before if you can, so if you happen to get sensitive you have time to get over it. Mine was a very rare case. It was $400. I'm estimating I'll spend about $1000 on hair and eyelash extensions, airbrush makeup, facials and trial runs with the hairdressers/make up girls. Air brush tanning left me orange, so be careful with that. If you get air brush makeup they can air brush bronzer on your body. Have fun, don't feel guilty about it.
I tried a spray tan 2 weeks before the wedding and it looked horrible, like I had been varnished so the only things I did was have my hair cut and my bikini line waxed
I didn't do any of that stuff for my wedding.

In fact, when I was getting ready I discovered my makeup (except for my lipstick)and curling iron had been left behind! Oh well, I still got married and I had a great time.
I used Crest White Strips on my teeth, started exfoliating the skin on my face, drank TONS of water, had my hair cut and colored. I also used Fake Bake for a tan.

On my wedding day, I had my hair and makeup done for $150.
I don't need all that stuff. My teeth are being whitened by toothpaste and strips, I am using acne/scar removal that is working, I know where I can get my nails done for a good price, and I have friend's and a future sister-in-law that are beauticians, oh and I am pretty tan. And I have two years to get my body the way I want it for that big day.
Wow, half of the stuff you mentioned I never heard of. I thought I was going ';all out'; buying expensive makeup. LOL. I'm glad though because when people see my pictures and say I look beautiful I know it's the real me their looking at.
Im not doing anything THAT extreme but I am getting airbrushed makeup. It's 375 dollars for just me or just me and up to two other girls so my maid of honor and matron of honor are getting theirs done too...Its expensive but it will be worth it because makeup doesn't hold to my face very well and its usually gone within a couple of hours..I want to look great throughout the entire event....it's all waterproof too except the lipstick lol
